Behind on a payment?
Ring 01302 410015. Do it early if you can — the sooner we know, the more we can do.
Depending on your situation we may be able to:
- Reduce your weekly payment for a while
- Give you a short break from payments
- Spread what’s left over a longer period
- Pause contact while you get independent advice
- Stop adding interest or charges to what you owe
We won’t turn up to pressure you, and we won’t keep ringing if you’ve asked us not to.
If you’re going through something hard
Things that can make repaying harder include:
- Illness, injury or a mental health condition
- Bereavement
- Losing a job or having hours cut
- A relationship ending
- Caring for someone
- Domestic or financial abuse
- Difficulty reading, understanding forms, or remembering things
If any of that applies, please say. You don’t have to go into detail. Our team is trained to listen and to change how we work with you, and anything you tell us is recorded carefully and kept confidential.
Making things easier
Just ask, and we can:
- Send letters in large print or another format
- Deal with a family member, friend or adviser you’ve authorised
- Give you longer to make decisions
- Explain anything again, as many times as you need
- Contact you only how and when you prefer
